I was completely blown away by Finca El Moro when I visited last June 2015. It’s setting and the beauty of the wild surroundings totally captivated me. I felt so at peace and connected to nature.
To hear the birds singing as the morning sun rises over the olive groves and cork trees is priceless. So many wonderful captured moments- picking delicious figs from the trees, still warm from the sun’s glow; plunging in to one of the fresh water pools in the early evening light.
I knew El Moro was a place I wanted to bring people to. Practising yoga, meditation and simply “being” in such a place – will infuse peace into anyone’s soul.
Finca El Moro has been a home of British couple Nick and Hermione Tudor since the 1980’s. It is in the the Sierra de Aracena National Park in the deep south west of Andalusia, close to the Portuguese border. A remote hill farm of sweet chestnut, cork and olive trees set in its own secluded valley 3 kms from a main road. El Moro farms organically and produce most of it’s own food, olive oil, eggs, honey, fruit and vegetables. All our food will be cooked at home by hermione and her wonderful helpers. The fresh vegetable are nearly all grown on El Moro’s land.
